How to use Freenode BNC (Bouncer)

Freenode BNC (Bouncer) is a service that allows you to maintain a persistent connection to IRC networks, even when your client is offline. This guide will walk you through the essential commands to set up and manage your Freenode BNC account.

Connecting to Freenode BNC:

To connect to Freenode BNC, use the following connection details:

Server: bnc.freenode.net Port: +6697 (SSL) Password: Use your NickServ nick:pass as your IRC connection password

 /server bnc.freenode.net:+6697 yourNick:yourPassword


Basic Commands:

1. ADDNETWORK:

Adds a new IRC network to your BNC account.


 /quote ADDNETWORK irc.server.com +6697


2. ADDTOKEN:

Adds a new token to your BNC account. Tokens are used for client authentication.
